1. Overview

 

At ART OF STONE USA LLC (“Company,” “we,” or “our”), we are committed to providing high-quality stone care and restoration services.

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how we handle cancellations, deposits, rescheduling, and refunds for our residential, builder, and commercial clients.

 

By booking a service or purchasing a care plan, you agree to the terms below.

 

 

2. Deposits and Payments

 

         •        To confirm your appointment or service date, a non-refundable deposit may be required.

         •        Deposit amounts vary depending on the service:

         •        Residential care plans: 20% of total price or $100 minimum, whichever is greater.

         •        Builder or property management projects: 10% or as stated in the signed agreement.

         •        Deposits are applied toward the final invoice balance upon service completion.

 

 

3. Cancellations by the Customer

 

a) Residential Clients

         •        Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled appointment may be rescheduled at no additional cost.

         •        Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

         •        If work has already begun or the technician is en route, the full minimum service fee ($250) will be charged.

 

b) Builder & Property Management Clients

         •        Cancellations must be submitted in writing at least 5 business days before the scheduled date.

         •        Cancellations or reschedules within less than 5 business days may result in a 15% project fee to cover scheduling and resource costs.

         •        Large-scale projects (50+ units) are subject to individually contracted terms.

 

c) Commercial Clients

         •        Due to the preparation and labor scheduling required, commercial bookings are non-refundable once confirmed.

         •        Rescheduling may be possible depending on availability but is not guaranteed.

 

 

 

 

4. Cancellations by the Company

 

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments in cases of:

         •        Unsafe working conditions

         •        Severe weather or material supply delays

         •        Health or equipment emergencies

 

In such cases, clients may choose to:

         •        Reschedule at the next available date, or

         •        Receive a full refund of any deposit paid if rescheduling is not possible.

 

 

 

5. Refunds

 

Refunds are granted only under the following circumstances:

         1.      The Company cancels the service and rescheduling is not possible.

         2.      Duplicate payments were made in error.

         3.      A valid written request is submitted within 7 days of payment, and no work has started.

 

All approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days to the original payment method, minus any applicable processing fees.

 

Note: Refunds are not available for:

         •        Completed or partially completed services

         •        Custom work or materials ordered specifically for your project

         •        Annual care plans once the first visit has been completed

6. Rescheduling Policy

 

         •        Residential clients may reschedule once without a fee if notice is given 48+ hours in advance.

         •        Builder and commercial clients must reschedule at least 5 business days before the service date.

         •        If a new date cannot be agreed upon within 30 days, the deposit may be forfeited.

 

 

 

7. No-Show Policy

 

If our technician arrives at the scheduled location and cannot access the property, or the client is unavailable, a $150 trip fee will apply, in addition to the forfeiture of deposit.

 

 

 

8. Dispute Resolution

 

In case of a disagreement, both parties agree to attempt resolution through direct communication before filing any claim.

If unresolved, disputes will be governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, under the jurisdiction of Charleston County courts.
